  • The song " Missing " was written about Green's religion teacher, Ralph Serravalle, who died. 1000 copies of the Missing EP were released exclusively in Canada and all proceeds went to the Denis Morris High School Starvathon that Serravalle had started, and continuously supported. Serravalle played a large part in teaching Green to believe in himself as a musician .
  • The name "City and Colour" comes from Dallas Green's own name, his first name, Dallas , being a city, and his last name, Green , being a colour.
  • Dallas is an avid skateboarder, but stated in a recent interview that, once touring with Alexisonfire , "I broke my wrist and struggled to play guitar and that tour was very stressful because of my accident."
